Mar Spa was founded by Maricel Campos Salas, a Costa Rican entrepreneur, licensed massage therapist and esthetician with more than 10 years of experience. After successfully owning and operating a spa in Santa Teresa, she took a two-year sabbatical to focus on health, family and personal well-being.
That time of renewal reaffirmed her passion for helping others. Today, she brings her expertise to Playa Órganos, specializing in Deep Tissue Massage and combining technical knowledge with intuitive care to create effective treatments tailored to each guest.
Our philosophy is rooted in nature. We use natural and organic products whenever possible and proudly incorporate locally made Costa Rican products, supporting local artisans while sharing the richness of our country's natural resources.
